What are your expectations from the group?
To have my point of view challenged and to be exposed to a wide variety of thoughts and opinions.
Tell us something about yourself.
I'm stubborn and stick to my point of view until I'm proven wrong with concrete evidence and a logical argument.
We are constantly looking for ideas for discussion topics. Do you have any suggestions?
Guns (I'm actually on the defending end of this one), British literature, European Union: poorly organized political black hole or prosperous and influential international body, benefits/pointlessness of space travel, and I'm out of space...
What type of events/activities you will be interested in?
Events that are geared toward teaching something (e.g. a guided tasting or a tour) with a debate. Maybe go to an art exhibit of a controversial artist and have a guide give us an interpretation then go to a coffee shop and debate the "true" meaning.
