Introduction

As an artist and intellectual, I have an inquisitive minds and am interested sharing time with like minded people and making new friends.

What are your expectations from the group?

I'm looking forward to sharing meaningful conversation in a congenial environment.

Tell us something about yourself.

I'm a voracious film buff and reader and enjoy dining out. I also enjoy music, theater and sports, the Redsox and Tennis, mainly. I also have my favorite changing TV shows. I also like staying informed about political local, national and international issues and events. I like being able to hear diverse points of view that may, or may not, change my mind.

We are constantly looking for ideas for discussion topics. Do you have any suggestions?

I'd like to meet with the people in the group before I make too many suggestions. I'm hoping to get to some Sunday afternoon concerts soon. Also, perhaps exploring different neighborhoods could be interesting in the warmer season.

Hi Betsey, Well that's another irritating thing about the new format - if you say "No thanks" you can't write any comment. I was just going to say that I would love to come and see this movie but we just got back from the UK on Friday evening and are coping with a jetlagged 14-month old so I will probably have to be in bed by 8 to get some sleep before she wakes up early again being still semi on London-time. Have fun!

I think this is a great idea. Was there a notice sent, that I missed? And is Meetup planning to do away with the "No" response?
