Hi, Bev recommended this group-looks cool. I am in a book club w/her and belong to a discussion grp, Boston Salonistas. I like discussion, arts & outdoor activities. I would like to attend 3/26 event, if there is room, or be waitlisted. Thanks!

Exposure to new ideas, socializing in a meaninful way.

As I said, I like serious discussion, fun socializing, the arts, the outdoors....laughter, good wine, the list goes on....

We are constantly looking for ideas for discussion topics. Do you have any suggestions?

what is green in this new era? recycling? how to build consensus in our current partisan context? how would you design a good health care policy? distribution of wealth--has it changed, how much is enough?

Hi Kathy,

Your group looks wonderful! I wish I could join, but I am Deaf...I would like to invite you and the members of your group to join a most wonderful meetup group at Boston ASL...ASL stands for American Sign Language, and it is more akin to Hopi than to English or Spanish or French..it is _very_ stimulating to discuss Deaf Culture and how it differs from hearing culture...ASL is a full-fledged language with its own syntax,idioms and so forth. Are you familiar with Harlan Lane's books?

I like the power idea #1, then green and recycling. I can maybe even make it since I'm moving my dance meetup event from that. P.S. To make it easy for people to vote, if you have access, you can set this up as a poll. As an idea there's no way to reply. Also, a message on the message board works too since it allows replies.
