I'm a single mom and Montessori preschool teacher. I enjoy improv and acting in my spare time. In the fall, I am re-opening my own small school in my home.

We are constantly looking for ideas for discussion topics. Do you have any suggestions?

Is there an "afterlife"? Do you believe in God? If so, in what form? Who's right -- Republicans or Democrats? Do you believe that a child's personality is there at birth? Or are children born "tabula rasa" (blank slate)? I have many more . . .

What type of events/activities you will be interested in?

Political, social, musical, theatrical, etc., etc.

Thanks, Karen! That really will help with the planning. While I have quite a number of activities, I really am looking for some simple fun with other people outside my normal realms. I like the idea of the group as one exploring the insides of each other's heads as we encounter each other socially. I have been out of the dating scene for so many years, it is mind-boggling. I'm trying to figure out for myself what I am looking for now at this stage of my life - after 32 years of marriage ...
