Always wanting to discuss the Why, and always looking for cool interesting friends.

What are your expectations from the group?

Fun interesting talks late into the night, solving all of the worlds problems - or at least questioning all of them

Tell us something about yourself.

I bake artisan breads, hike, run, draw and ask questions.

We are constantly looking for ideas for discussion topics. Do you have any suggestions?

pressure. Can't think of any... except one of the books I'm reading - 'My life as a Traitor', about a 20 year old Iranian woman who was imprisoned when protesting the regime; we could discuss rebellion, freedom, activism and where is it in the US?

What type of events/activities you will be interested in?

small groups for discussion - hike, museums, coffee, bbq, book or poetry readings, lecutures...

Hi Karen, The wine & cheese at the Diablo school last weekend looked like a lot of fun, although I wasn't able to go. I'm curious about the classes there- do you have any experience with them?

Karen,

I will be trying to put routes together for all levels. But if you talk to some of the riders, "C" in particular, you will find that she has only done 20 and under rides and mostly flats. But last weekend she joined us on a 37 mile ride with 3 cat. 5 climbs and she finished and felt great at the end. Nobody felt like we were being slowed down as the goal of the group is to ride together regardless of skill level until the group is big enough where riders can start to group up by level.
