    Boston Globe art awards

Posted by: vaibhav vaibhav on Feb 21, 2010

This probably is a less advertised event but there is a art exhibition of the works of grade 7-12 art students. If you are thinking Oh! what can grade 7-12 students can produce, you have to come see this. This is really really great. The exhibition is on the 2nd floor of the building harboring city place foodcourt on stuart street in downtown Boston. On Saturday 27th feb we could meet for brunch at the food court and then go upstairs and see the exhibition.

    Exsitance of Mind

Posted by: vaibhav vaibhav on Nov 19, 2009

Does mind have a physical exsitance? Does mind exist. (Please not mind is different than Brain). In fact is brain all we got. Our decision predetermined by the neural network of our brain (wriing of the brain). Broader question question is there truely a free will?

RSVP by email: Dr Francis Collins on Science & Faith, Feb 28 @ my church

    Posted by: se-oona se-oona on Feb 20, 2010

My church is featuring Dr. Collins who will speak on "Science & Faith: Conflict or Complement". He's the last in a series of guests in celebration of our Bicentennial.

Email RSVP to me for church &/or dinner. If you can only do dinner & not church, do church & not dinner, no prob! RSVP any way. :) Also I posted on NerdFun ideas. :-) Also, PSC welcomes visitors any Sunday, not just for special speakers.

    The Plan
    -www.parkstreet.org for info & parking
-When: Sun, Feb 28, 5:15pm-ish, til 6:30-ish. To Chinatown for affordable dinner.
-Location: Park Street Church; at Park & Tremont Sts Boston. Directly below State House & across from Park St T Station.
-How to find us: Through the Welcome Center at ground level, find us waiting in the library. TomG and I will wear name tags.
-What is this? A contemporary-style church service with guest speaker Dr. Francis Collins, Director of the National Institutes of Health, & former Director of the Natl Human Genome Research Institute/NIH.
